What Chanoga Safaris Offers
Chanoga Safaris is dedicated to offering small group and private safari tours through one of Africa’s hidden gems, Botswana. Born and raised in Botswana, our founder has deep family roots there and is passionate about sharing his love for the wildlife, the people, and the land.
Guests can expect a first class, intimate experiences with Southern Africa’s most iconic species in the stunning landscapes of the Okavango delta.
Why Botswana
Botswana offers one of the most consistent safari environments in Africa, shaped by water, space, and a strong focus on conservation.
Wildlife is abundant and naturally distributed, particularly through the Okavango Delta and surrounding regions. This allows for regular, close encounters without the need to rush or follow crowds.
What sets Botswana apart is the way it is experienced.
Fewer vehicles, a slower pace, and more time spent in each location create a safari that feels quieter and more considered. Just as important is the standard of guiding. Botswana is known for producing some of the best guides in Africa, with a depth of knowledge and awareness that adds a completely different layer to the experience.

Your Host
I was raised in Botswana’s wilderness, not introduced to it later in life.
My connection to this landscape began long before tourism shaped the Delta as it is today - through family, community, and a way of moving through place that prioritised respect, patience, and understanding over spectacle.
Today, I lead and design journeys through Botswana with that same philosophy. I work closely with trusted local operators and licensed guides, shaping each safari with care - balancing structure and flexibility, planning and presence - so guests can travel without needing to think about the details.
My role is to hold the journey together from beginning to end, allowing you to be fully immersed in the experience.
